When you use "Check my hotel rate", we collect the information you give us: the hotel's name and city, check-in and check-out dates, the number of travellers, the price you've already seen and the platform where you saw it (the comparison platforms are then suggested automatically), your email address if you turn on reminders. The stay details you enter (hotel, dates, reference price and, for older checks, noted prices) are kept only for your reminders and deleted on request at contact@prixofy.com.

We also set technical cookies required for the service to work: a session cookie when you access your dashboard after verifying your email, and a device identifier that lets you find your price checks on the same device without verifying your email each time. These cookies are strictly necessary and are never used for advertising tracking.

We may also collect some technical data needed to run and secure the site (IP address, browser type, information about the device used).

We never ask for your login credentials, passwords, or payment details from booking platforms.

When you use the contact form, we collect your email address, the content of your message, and your IP address (used only to limit abuse, up to 5 submissions per hour).

When you use "Check my hotel rate", we log a verification with no email address: the hotel name, city, and stay dates, tied to your device. If you turn on free reminders, your email address is then attached to it.

Location: on the "Explore the destination" page, the "Near me" button may use your device's location, only if you click it and allow it in your browser. It is only used, on your device, to find the nearest city in our list. Your location is never sent to our servers, stored or shared.

We process your data on the following legal bases:

performing the service you asked for (sending reminders, dashboard access);

our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and preventing abuse (IP address, rate limiting);

responding to your requests when you contact us.

Your information is used solely to run Prixofy: recording your price check, scheduling and sending the reminders for your stay, letting you check the price at the right moment, improving and securing how Prixofy works, responding to your requests when you contact us, and automatically finding your hotel's page on the comparison sites.

Prixofy doesn't modify your reservations and doesn't automatically monitor hotel prices.

When you click a link to a booking site (Booking.com, Agoda, Trip.com) or one of our partners (Klook, Airalo, Saily, AutoEurope, BikesBooking, Welcome Pickups), you're redirected to that partner's site. Any data collected from that point on is handled under that partner's privacy policy, not ours.

Prixofy doesn't sell your personal data.

To run the service, we use the following technical providers, who process your data on our behalf:

Vercel — site hosting and anonymous audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics), USA (transfers governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

Supabase — database; data stored in the European Union (Ireland); company based in the USA, any transfers governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Brave Search — automatically finds your hotel's page on the comparison sites; only the hotel name and city are sent, with no email address or data that could identify you; company based in the USA.

Resend — sending emails (confirmations, reminders, access codes, contact form); data stored in the European Union (Ireland); company based in the USA, any transfers governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

ImprovMX — receiving and forwarding emails sent to contact@prixofy.com; company based in the USA.

Google (Gmail) — inbox where messages sent via the contact form or to contact@prixofy.com are received and kept; company based in the USA, transfers governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Travelpayouts — our affiliation platform (partner links for Klook, Airalo, Saily, AutoEurope, BikesBooking, Welcome Pickups); a script from this partner is loaded on the site to track partner links and measure bookings made through them. It also delivers, with your consent, our partner Klook's tours-and-activities widget.

Stay22 — our hotel affiliation partner (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Hotels.com, Trip.com and more). "See" links to these sites go through Stay22, which records the click without any cookie being set on Prixofy. Only with your consent, a Stay22 script is also loaded on the site's public pages (never on your dashboard).

Prixofy uses two categories of cookies: technical cookies, essential for the service to work, and a partner measurement cookie set only with your consent.

Session cookie (prixofy_user_session): keeps you signed in to your dashboard after verifying your email.

Device identifier (prixofy_device_id): lets you find, on this same device, your price checks, without an extra verification step.

Consent cookie (prixofy_consent): remembers your choice (accept or decline) regarding our partners Travelpayouts' and Stay22's scripts, for 6 months.

Since these technical cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work, no prior consent is required to set them, in line with applicable regulations.

With your consent, we load a script from our partner Travelpayouts, which sets the following cookie:

Partner measurement cookie (am_user_session): set by the Travelpayouts Drive script only after you accept, it's used to measure the effectiveness of partner links and expires at the end of your browsing session.

Still with your consent, the "Explore the destination" page and your dashboard may load an activity-booking widget from our partner Klook, via Travelpayouts.

Again only with your consent, the site's public pages load a script from our partner Stay22 (lma.stay22.com), which may turn links to hotel booking sites into partner links and use its own cookies. Without your consent, this script is never loaded. It's never loaded on your dashboard.

Partner links (Stay22, Klook and our other partners) may earn Prixofy a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you: the price stays the same.

You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of each page.

Links to a booking site (Booking.com, Agoda, Trip.com) or one of our partners (Klook, Airalo, Saily, AutoEurope, BikesBooking, Welcome Pickups) may lead to cookies being used on their own sites, governed by their own privacy policies, once you've left ours.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics to measure site traffic anonymously: this tool sets no cookies and can't identify you individually.

Price checks made through "Check my hotel rate" are automatically deleted 6 months after the departure date of the stay in question.

6-digit verification codes are deleted as soon as they expire (30 minutes after being sent).

Anti-abuse data from the contact form (IP address, used to limit submissions) is automatically deleted 30 days after being recorded.

Messages sent via the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted no later than 12 months after our last exchange.

You can ask us at any time for early deletion of your data by contacting us (see below).

Under applicable regulations, you have the following rights in particular: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. You can also withdraw your consent when processing relies on it.

To exercise your rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

We respond to your request within one month.

You can also stop your reminders at any time via "Stop tracking" in your dashboard (linked in every email), or via "Unsubscribe" at the top of the email in Gmail.
